On Twitter you can post a tweet and add a @msnbc to the end of it. Or add another MSNBC anchor or an NBC News executive’s Twitter handle (like Phil Griffin’s). OR, if you’re chewing out Andrea Mitchell and you add Jake Tapper’s Twitter handle or George Stephanopoulos’s or John King’s or Anderson Cooper’s or somebody else’s. That way her competition seems it. It’s like cc’ing other management in a complaint letter.

When Greta Van Susteren briefly marred the MSNBC lineup, I send some complaining tweets and added Phil Griffin, MSNBC, and @maddow, because Rachel Maddow was hyping her so much. Others need to see it, too.

I read awhile ago that some woman wrote a complaint letter to the New York Times. She disagreed with something they’d published and knew what the paper got wrong, and she provided proof. She cc’d her letter to the newspaper known as the NYTimes’ biggest rival - the Washington Post. Basically, in effect, dragged the offenders out into the public square in front of their competitors. The results were that a humiliated and chastened NYTimes printed a correction straight away.

To find somebody’s Twitter Page, you can go on Twitter and at the upper right, type in their name in “Search Twitter” and it’ll come up. OR, even simpler, Google is your friend.
