i don't think about it much. "getting into heaven", whatever that means, is not why i am a Christian. I believe God isalways with us, in this life or whatever comes next. for me "salvation through Christ" means the changes following what he taught has allowed me to make in my own life here on earth. So, the "heaven/hell/are you saved?" thing is really more of a fundamentalist/evangelical thing. Not saying everyone who believes that is a fundie or a nut of some sort. Being a Christian because you think it will get you into heaven, frankly seems a little selfish. and selfishness doesn't seem very Christ-like to me.
