You KNOW she wasn't hacked? Well, la-dee-da for you.

I call bullshit on your accusation of "selective" standards.

Good Lord, if we assumed that everyone who had homophobic views 10, 15 or 20 years ago must now be shunned, we'd be nowhere. People make mistakes and then, hopefully, evolve and then do better. Supporting people who have evolved and grown is not "selective support." It's sanity.

And I'm sure that, being a human being, you were not perfect 10 or 20 years ago and probably wouldn't appreciate being judged on how you thought and behaved then.

So please spare us your sanctimonious judgments about the "standards" of those of us who stand by a brilliant and committed and totally progressive African-American woman who kicks Republicans asses, uses her power, privilege and platform to fiercely stand up for and eloquently speak up for marginalized people - including LGBTQs - and, as such, has a huge target on her back, put there by the very people who are coming at her now and who depend upon and revel in the support of myopic purity police who eagerly do their bidding for them (and most of whom never bother to lift a finger to actually DO anything to advance the cause of civil rights for anyone outside of their own limited circle, beyond telling those of us who actually fight the fight day in and day out what we're doing wrong).
