22. I'm not quite buying this scenario, TBH. Not yet, anyhow.

Yes, Rove is indeed quite the scheming Bond villainish neer-do-well, but to be honest, if Romney had nothing to hide, I strongly suspect he would have released his unadulterated tax returns some weeks ago. That hasn't yet happened. That, and the fact that McCain admitted that the tax returns played a significant role in Romney's being passed over for the VP nomination......I just don't smell a conspiracy here(and, admittedly, I'm a bit of a conspiracy buff).
