37. Racism is the belief that your own race is superior to others.

Without power, a racist is just an ignorant fool. You can only advance racist ideas with social power. There are Black people and Brown people who are racist. In this country however, where all the power is held by White people, those racist people of color amount to nothing.

People are going crazy on this forum because ONE Black author has created a term to describe one tiny subset of people. Absolutely going crazy. That Black author has ZERO power to make any change in this country and yet people are treating it as if it were the worst thing to happen. People of Color have been enduring this for centuries by structures with REAL power to make our lives more difficult, so I hope you can understand why some people of color on this forum are not as sympathetic to the issue.
