The person appointed now will only be there until November. Too bad the Governor didn't call for an investigation and then fire him if the accusations were proven true. This jeopardizes the cases against Trump and Cohen. Especially if a republican wins in November.

"The AG has to have a current law license," - not a requirement per the New York State Constitution.
