This might indeed work on some of the low-information voters, though......on the other hand, I don't expect a majority of Independents to buy Rove's story, and will at least by skeptical of anything he claims.

And yes, what we want are the REAL tax returns going back to at least a decade or so......nothing scrubbed or sanitized. We want the ORIGINAL documents, as they were originally filed, and we need to demand that.
