Two thoughts/suggestions re: NFL rule about standing for national anthem--- [View all]

1.) Players for each team should agree that if anyone chooses to remain in the locker room, everyone will remain.

2.) Since it is only required that players "stand" if on field when anthem is played, there would be no violation---and no fine--- if a player stood with head bowed and a black-gloved fist raised high. (a la Tommie Smith and John Carlos at Mexico City Olympics)
