5. I've been saying this for weeks --

and a couple of DUers accused me of "wanting to be entertained." I think they were being purposely obstinate and cantankerous.

My position is that the Dems -- specifically Schumer and Pelosi (plus appropriate committee members for appropriate issues) -- need to get out there and make some NOISE and counter Trump's and Huckabee Sanders' lies. I propose a weekly news conference where they take down the lies one by one -- well, the big lies, anyway.

WHO's pushing back on "there is no collusion"? NO ONE
WHO's pushing back on "the Dems are obstructionist"? NO ONE
WHO's pushing back on the DACA lies? NO ONE
WHO's pushing back on the Mueller probe is a DEMOCRATIC hoax? NO ONE.
WHO's pushing back on the horrific separation of children at the border? Merkeley and NO ONE else.

Etc., Etc, Etc. If the lies aren't countered -- loudly, long and strong -- then they settle in quite nicely into the brains of more casual news consumers.
