More Americans agree with Democrats on gay marriage than Republicans. This isn't the 1990s. Yes economics needs to be the focus and income inequality front in center in the discussion. And im sure that's why I hear the president and democrats talk a lot more these days about Republicans voting down his plan to cut taxes for the middle class while raising them on the one percent. Not to mention the fact Romney will raise taxes on the middle/working class while lowering them for people like himself. The only time I have seen social issues really come up im this cycle has been in the Republican primaries where they all tried to outcrazy each h other, driving up Republican negatives generally .
