(13,305 posts)I've not seen a phrase so accurately sum up the Democratic party's biggest flaw/downfall/whatever. It has been this way since the BUsh 2 years.
There are too many, especially the ones in our party in positions of power, who are still operating under the auspices of a neutral, traditional, fair media which does not exist.
And the most modern and current manifestation of this flaw is that too many think that if they just put out a witty tweet that reaches a million of their followers (merely a fraction of a fraction of voters) that the media is going to report on that the same way they report on Trump tweets. That is not the case.
And yes, they are too cautious and reserved on almost every front, and too dependent on outdated notions of political tradition, decorum, fairness, etc.
