I actually think it's more of a perfect example of how our corporate media in this country absolutely sucks.

People don't necessarily "not give a shit" about those topics, most people probably don't know anything about them because they never heard of it. And many who did hear about some of those things forget not out of a lack of concern, but because of the tsunami of corruption, disasters, and crap going on.

And of course, the corporate media never mentions any of that.
