I have a non-political friend who has minimized the danger that Trump is, from the beginning, & continued to do so until last week when she finally said, "I'm really worried."

If the dems don't gain control of at least one chamber of Congress in November, then it's probably over. They will have been effectively neutered. They are partly to blame for this clusterfuck. They dropped the ball and got complacent while the GOP was busy working at all levels of government so they could ratfuck the electoral process & take over the government.

I read McConnell has finally jumped on the "it's time to end this investigation" bandwagon. I guess he doesn't want to go into the mid-terms with surprise arrests & indictments going on. I only hope there's one with his name on it. Seriously, if the Con goes down but McConnell is still in place, we'll be back down this road again. The entire GOP is corrupt to the core & only cares about unlimited, unchallenged power. We could be truly fucked.
