What ever happened to Patriotism? [View all]

My mother had her food and gas rationed during WWII, she purchased WAR BONDS on payday at the Munitions factory. She watched her husband go off to war and come back a broken man. She did all this because her country asked her too...and we cant get the Wealthy to shake loose 5% extra in taxes. It wouldnt change their lifestyle one bit...taxing Us...its gonna hurt. Why are we the ones who always have to feel the pain of sacrifice?
