...who (may have) voted for Trump have (possibly) concluded that Trump is, um, less than ideal. Imagine that.

I say "may have" and "possibly" because Quinnipiac didn't strictly poll only those who voted in 2016. Trump won a majority of the white women vote in '16, but his approval rating among white women is now at 39%, according to Quinnipiac. Of course, it could very well be that the poll includes a lot of women who didn't vote in 2016 and won't vote in 2018 or 2020, so there's no guarantee Trump (and other Republicans) won't once again garner the support of more than half the white women who vote in upcoming elections.
