You raise good points but I disagree on the "we may win the odd presidency" statement. The repugs are the ones who may win the odd presidency. And the more they (the mostly white, elderly party) ages out and the rest of the country's demographics change to an aggregate of minorities; African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans, white americans (progressives and repugs) etc, the repugs will become a regional party unable to win a national election. And they know it and are desperate to get Rmoney in there to try to enact laws that will allow them to stay in power. It ain't gonna happen though. The numbers are in our favor for the senate and house as well. It may not happen this election cycle but it will happen.
