(8,312 posts)35. Guess I'm a total weirdo for my advocacy for the missing and unidentified.
About to make a post about how the DNA Doe Project is extracting DNA from the nearly 30-year-old remains of a transgender woman found in Florida in 1988 -- they thought she was cis, delaying the investigation until DNA profiling was started on every Florida unidentified decedent case.
It's okay, my friends thought my advocacy was weird, too, until a mutual friend went missing under very suspicious circumstances and police did nothing.
