Came to work one morning back in the 80's and found ABC News trucks in the parking lot and reporters in the lobby. Seems that my boss got some insider info and either bought or unloaded stock. And got caught by whatever Wall St. or SEC computers systems were in place at the time - a time when insider trading was in the news, thus the ABC news trucks & reporters.

Worse, for him - he actually LOST money on the trade. Idiot.

He was damn lucky he didn't go to prison, a la Martha Stewart many years later, and he knew it. He paid a 5-figure fine and God-only-knows how much to lawyers.
