I don't see a double digit lead at anytime in the poll below:

This Quinnipiac University National Poll taken in Sept. showed the race too close to call:
"With third party candidates in the race, results are too close to call, with Clinton at 41 percent, Trump at 39 percent, Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson at 13 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 4 percent."

And I don't know what you mean by "senate secure" nor do I know where you got the info that we expected major gains in the house. Who predicted that?
