In reply to the discussion: This is what bothers me about Avenatti [View all]This nonsense has went on too long, where we have allowed the Republicans to beat us up because, well we're taking the high road, which is a joke. That plan has been an absolute failure, you cannot take the high road against people that could careless about your health and welfare, they will drive right over you without an ounce of remorse. It's time our party started to grow a set, time to smack the bully in the mouth and repeat, politics has changed, you must fight fire with fire. I have no opinion on Avenatti, in regards to running for the position of President, but I do like that he has at least spoken up and is willing to go toe to toe with these animals. Seriously, why is anyone worrying about who is running in 2020? Everyone should be fixated on Nov 2018, we must take the House, or quite possibly this country may be overrun by corruption and greed, that a 2020 election would be a facade. We need more people like Avenatti, Ted Lieu, Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell, and less of guys like Schumer that want to talk things through, and not rile the opposition.
