In reply to the discussion: I want to say something about Trump's fat ass. [View all]miffelplix

I understand your feelings.
If it were possible to engage with Trump supporters or persuadable independents voters on a purely intellectual level, I would do so. But it is not. They are however susceptible to branding, and many of them (unfortunately) have a deeply-ingrained animadversion against overweight people.
Portraying him as an overweight person is an effective satire against him, an effective way to brand him, an effective way to decrease his support.
The stakes are too high to pull punches. We are in an existential fight against Trump to save our democracy. If Trump wins in 2020, we are finished.

Trump's butt isn't fat. It's just where Putin stuffed that 80-foot satellite dish.

I disagree with you (and, FYI, I also have a fat ass). He's an exception to the rule.

Thanks for the advice. Your post is almost as good as being "carded" when buying wine at 69.

I can empathize with your POV. My ass is rounder and fatter than I'd like myself.

It isn't his "fat ass". It is that he *LIES* about it. If he's 239 pounds, I'm 100 pounds.
