92. okay, I think the idea that "the country is actually left" is a dangerous fantasy.

People don't vote Republican because Dems don't run enough Socialists.

(Also, an expansive social safety net does not equal socialism. Infrastructure reform, good schools etc are not socialist concepts)

We don't all share the same values. Understand that people liked Roy Moore not because he was seen as an upstanding guy, but because he's devoted time to insulting and targeting non-whites, non-christians, and gays. There are people who support candidates who hate the same people they hate and that's enough for them. Michael Moore needs to appreciate that Trump held an appeal for millions of Americans, that people within the state he grew up in has values and opinions different to his and their values and opinions aren't the results of being brainwashed necessarily, but a matter of choice.
