(23,844 posts)38. I just had the two part Shingrix shots. First was just fine - a slightly sore arm for a day. Second,
was a lot worse. Chills, fatigue, ditziness (more than my usual), aches for about a week plus.
Still, I'd do it again if it prevents me from getting shingles!
And based on my advanced age (not telling, but between 70 and 72), I'm also going to get my first flu shot.

I think they're recommending around 50+. Past exposure to chicken pox makes it more important.
