True, the FBI is worried about the Dems being mad at their performance in this investigation, if D's come to power again.

But that does NOT mean they're doing a thorough job.

Rachel said tonight that Ramirez's attorney gave the FBI names of 20 people who could corroborate her story, but none of them have been interviewed. Also, Elizabeth Rasor, Judge's ex-girlfriend, has been unable to get the FBI to respond to her. (Meanwhile, there are multiple reports today of the investigation being wrapped up tonight or tomorrow.)

I'm paraphrasing, but Brian Williams said that he's talked to FBI people tonight who say that there has been only a very limited expansion of the original investigation, and the FBI is being hamstrung by the limits put on them. That they're not being able to follow leads they would normally follow. That they are being forced to turn away witnesses who turn up at FBI offices to give information.

Maya Wiley looked like she was going to cry. Frank Montoya said he hadn't been this upset since he'd handled a murder investigation of a 6 year old.

We need to get on the phones and email and continue till this is over. Flake, Collins, Murkowski, Manchin, Heidi (don't remember last name) -- they all need to hear from us tonight, tomorrow, the next day -- until this is over.
