He attacked her from the left flank, which required her to move left before the primaries. This alienated her from more moderate voters who otherwise would have supported her in the General. Then he didnt get behind Hillary fast enough or support her strongly enough. Some number of his supporters didnt vote for her in the General, which ultimately cost us to lose the Presidency.
If the party were smart, it would do its best to avoid another bloody primary.
If Bernie is the nominee, we likely will have Trump for another 4 years. Bernie could carry the northeast blue states and CA, but the chances of a self-declared socialist democrat winning in the south or mountain states is slim.
I loved Bernie when he was my mayor 30 years ago. But I cant forgive him for 2016 and he now needs to go away. There is no way I would ever vote for him in a primary, and if he is the nominee, God save us all.
