(3,596 posts)What she has to understand is running for office is not the same as complying the local zoning ordinances....the ordinances states the residential structure must be not less than 40' from the abutment adjacent to the local thoroughfare......this is about people voting for a person that can blow up the world, can significantly impact the lives (and cause the deaths) of tens if not thousands or millions of Americans and others. So to hide behind the "legally required" curtain suggests there is something to hide. The American people, regardless of the legal requirements, are entitled to transparency on the person who is asking for the public trust to lead them for at least 4 years.
I suggest Ann engage in some self-reflection, think about how many inner-city kids could have been fed, how many after-school programs could have been funded off her $77K tax deduction for her horse.
She is the epitome of the 1% that Americans despise, not because of their wealth, but because their arrogance and total appreciation for their position and how that position is not entirely of their making. Regardless of what the f*****ng GOP says, in today's world, there are no self-made men or women. Their success is a product of their own drive, creativity, ingenuity, etc. combined WITH the benefits of our educated workforce, our infrastructure, our economic system, our legal system that protects/limits them from liability, enables them to enforce IP and unfair business practices against competitors, etc.
So Ann, go to bed tonight and pray for your mortal soul because from where I sit it is tarnished. I wouldn't be hoping for a planet in the afterlife where Mittens can keep you eternally pregnant and making babies. I think the afterlife is much less complicated than that.
