Using "lucky sperm club" to describe good people that just happen to be born in powerful or rich families does denigrate those people. If it was me, I would focus on their goodness and not their birth status. Julia Dreyfus is a perfect example, born into a very wealthy family, went to top private school, became an actress on a hit show maybe because of her background, but has continued to have success on her own account. She is very wealthy by her own efforts, but she will or has billions of trust fund dollars too. None of that affects her goodness or her charitable actions toward those less fortunate. Why insult a person like that with a poorly chosen phrase?

Maybe you should have raised your eyebrows and omitted the Lucky Sperm joke. dem4decades Nov 2018 #1
