1. DISCLAIMER: (vegetarian) - Factory animal farms are killing the environment.

The run-off from the farms is loaded with poisons and antibiotics. The waste feeds the nitrogen-breeding organism that clog up waterways. I'm not even GOING to get into the methane emissions. The feed for them is almost exclusively Monsanto-based bio-crap that's cross-pollinating with organic crops and ruining them. Yeah, I'm vegetarian, but even if I DID eat meat, I'd still be pissed about this shit.

Have you ever seen a factory chicken facility (can't use the word "farm" - not applicable). They're all over the east shore of Maryland. They stink. East of Lancaster, PA stinks too, but that's mushrooms. There's no humanity, no concern for health and disease issues. It's all about profit. Tyson rules the "torture the chickens for a profit" arena. Chick-A-Fil (as I've always called it) is just a pawn. It's way worse than you can imagine.

It isn't about the food. Seriously. It's about the mind-set. There was a moron in line for the "counter-protest" who quoted Leviticus ("man to lie with a man&quot and attributed it to Jesus. I'm a fucking agnostic leaning atheist and even I know that way pre-dates Jesus. Oh, and how about that "to eat shellfish would be an abomination EVEN unto God" line about two pages later? Huh? Ever eat a shrimp, idiot?

It isn't a distraction. It's a very real issue. If rMoney and rLyan can steal the election, they will. Obama is the best president perhaps in history and mostly because he cares about the country before himself. I can say the same of Lincoln, Eisenhower, FDR, and even Grant. The rMoney campaign is all about power, nothing less.

Yes, it is a distraction. It's fracked up. We've got our own fracking issue here in PA and it's in the PASC right now. Voter ID will knock out 10% of our voters, mostly Democratic (NOT "DEMOCRAT&quot voters. Corbett is evil. The House and Senate are all GOP so he gets what he wants. If I see him on the streets of Harrisburg (unlikely since he never leaves the mansion) I'll give him a full truck-nutz moon and be proud to be arrested for it.
