There is no supporting evidence that he went to the embassy.

The most logical conclusion is that they are flooding the media with false allegations so that they can say that Manafort is being railroaded.

The did it with Dan Rather.

They are seeding the media so that they can pardon Manafort, a subject Trump addressed just now
