Btw though, two from Trump's WH staff just left for new jobs with the Trump 2020 campaign.

Trump is posturing to his base, and no doubt deluding himself, about a second term. I'm with you in believing he'd love to be out of this. The trap he created for himself is closing in fast, but I'm guessing in his happier moments he still thinks there's an ego-fulfilling way out.
