9. There's a pejorative dark "joke" in medical circles

when referring to someone who's not that bright: "Two neurons connected by a spirochaete."

Treponema pallidum, which causes syphilis, is a type of bacterium known as a spirochaete due to its spiral, spring-like shape.

It would not surprise me in the least to learn that trump has tertiary syphilis...
