14. Let's not forget that he's always been white America's boy

And giving him the benefit of the doubt, in spite of his unfitness for office, has always been an expression of white privilege. Hence, we’re all dealing with the aftermath of a post-Obama white-last by white America.

Frankly, having Trump run the country is a prime example of how self-destructive white supremacy actually is. Those who support Trump as an expression of white supremacy would rather we’d die all than risk identifying with someone who isn’t white.

The key to defeating Trump has always been out-organizing and out-voting a huge chunk of angry white America. We just have to stop self-destructing on the left first. Our power is in our own numbers, we simply have to use that power to win.

My suggestion is that all of us support the candidate whom black women would vote for. But asking Democrats to show that kind of solidarity has always been like herding cats, hasn’t it?
