(6,216 posts)first, I doubt Barr & Rosenstein have both posted a summary report which is opposite of what the Mueller report contains. Yes, there is probably some damaging information in the report on the issue of obstruction. But again the 2 top officials at DOJ have concluded it does not rise to the level of bringing charges and it highly unlikely DOJ will take action to prosecute. So all a full report disclosure could do at best is impeachment will pass in House, but fail in Senate to remove.
OP is right about what voters care most right now. Jobs, affordable healthcare without unaffordable deductibles, relief from the tight squeeze middle class is feeling, good schools in big cities, infrastructure.
Majority of new winners in 2018 races ran on a platform to get things done, not investigations. That is the winning formula in 2020 to dump Trump at the ballot box.
