The bill appears to target state universities such as ISU in Ames. Private universities would not be affected.

One possibility that might help spread word about the bill is at the Bleeding Heartland blog. You might want to contact Laura Belin at info@bleedingheartland.com . I did not see any posts about this topic so I suggest sending the link that I posted above to Laura so she can give it some publicity.

I'm also cross-posted this in the Iowa Group here on DU so that it will get more attention.
