In reply to the discussion: So Mueller is the good guy after all. [View all]Texin
(2,851 posts)49. For the OP: I think the jury's still out on whether Mueller is "the good guy" after all.
We'll know more after goes before Congress and testifies publicly. We know that Mueller is a standup guy and a straight arrow who has served his country admirably and loyally. What we know now is that his report laid out details about tRump's corruption and illegalities. I'll know more whether Mueller is a hero or a traitor at a later time.
Right now, we absolutely know that Barr is corrupt. He's been fully exposed as tRump's new-found Roy Cohn. But now any shred of respectability Barr ever had has been destroyed. Barr is a ruined man and all because he decided to throw in for tRump. Why? He had to have gotten something more for this ruinous behavior than a government salaried position. What was he promised?

We know he didn't interview Jared, Ivanka, let alone Trump. That's inexcusable.

Barr thinks he is the President's defense attorney rather than the nation's top prosecutor.

They can. But will they? When Barr tries to prevent Mueller from testifying, what will the Dems do?
