I think she's wrong. And it's not just me. Many House Democrats she's interviewed have tried to explain to her why they're moving deliberately.

She's approaching this as an political/policy analyst and activist, so her position makes sense from that perspective. But although she's brilliant, she's not a lawyer or legislative expert and so she's not looking at it as someone with that mindset does. And this must be looked at primarily from a legal and legislative lens because that's what ilwill underlie and drive thia process.

This can't be rushed just because it feels good. There are processes that must be followed - at least if we want certain outcomes - and strategies to be mapped out and carried out. In these kinds of cases, everything can't be done in one fell swoop at the outset. It has to be done methodically if it's to be done right and that's what the Democrats are doing, even though many people want them to pull the trigger right away.
