85. I am likely to the left of you, but I get criticism.

Being a business oriented person, I always look to determine whether a proposal is rational and will accomplish what is intended. I also am willing to acknowledge some hard truths about things that some see as untouchable. I believe that we will defeat republicans only if we are able to self-reflect on our own policy prescriptions and make wise adjustments. We should never give in to what republicans want, they are wrong pretty much 100% of the time and they positions often are built on hate and fear.

I am true to my values and I use what I observe about people and situations to sanity-check my values. Often that process leads me to state what I see as a hard truth, that does not sit well with some people here.

All I can say is that you know who and what you are. Use that as your Northstar and ignore the fucking noise. I am a longtime progressive democrat and I don't care if a poster here claims that I am not, I know what I am and I have a track record.
