I have been - like most people - laughing my ass off in total disbelief at that performance... but yes, really.

I dunno, but if Clint really did pull off some kind of stunt (a la Joaquin Phoenix on Letterman a couple of years ago, when he showed up heavily bearded, disheveled and rambling) aimed at 'punking' the Repukes in some bizarro, 'performance art' sort of way... then he nailed it and the joke's really on us.

I didn't think Clint was that good an actor. I still don't, however intriguing it may be to consider his whole performance as one giant put on.

Damn funny, though. Thanks for the laughs, Mr. Callahan.
