The elementary school is secure.
An unclimbable fence around the entire school plus a parent volunteer outside every classroom door.
Active shooter drills are scaring kids and may not protect them.
Some schools are taking a new approach.
From calling them "buddy room drills" to making school psychologists available during the exercises, schools are trying to protect students physically and mentally.
