120. A few decades ago, I was visiting one of my closest friends from childhood

Her first daughter was almost sixteen and was heading to a sweet sixteen party in a lovely mini-dress. My friend asked her where she was going in that dress.
Now I was the third person to hold that baby in my arms when she was born. I called to my friend and asked her to come to the kitchen with me. I then asked her if she remembers when my mother told the two of us not to bend over because people would see what we had for breakfast given the length (or lack thereof) of our mini skirts.

I told her that I wouldn't allow her to terrorize my beloved when her dress was actually longer than those we wore back in the day. I added that her daughter was a responsible teenager and she'd be fine. She looked at me and laughed and said sometimes we forget.

My beloved first baby in the entire group is now 47 - a responsible adult with a fine profession and a nice family.

If a ten year old told me he was uncomfortable because of what other young folks were wearing I'd tell him to get a life. They were heading for the pool not a church service.
