Republicans were headed for demographic doom after alienating people of color. They couldn't win honest elections anymore, so they sold their souls to whoever could drag them across the finish line. Turned out that was Putin. He used his clout to install his money-laundering poodle as the presidential nominee and then pushed the whole mess into office with a dirty-money-powered bulldozer.
