(84 posts)Lots of People believe stories due to sympathy. I usually do. But Sometimes it's due to wanting an outcome.
Lots of White people are terrible. But just because some are, isn't a reason to paint them all. Jussie smollett is another example. Lots of people were mad at every white maga that wearing dude that they saw and now it looks like that whole thing was a lie.
But in the end, what scares me is the people who think of the fact these things didn't happen as some sort of a loss. This is a huge win for humanity. People aren't as bad as we thought. YAY. But we are instant to portray.
I am glad she didn't have to go through what she claimed and I am glad jussie didn't either. But I also feel sorry for the real victims here. The unfortunate thing the accused have in common is their skin color. This might be racism. And racism doesn't defeat racism. Play "shoe on the other foot" and see. We have enough racism in high places to go around for years. Let's try to get rid of it all together.
