Trump lives for approval from strong willed men like his father, and Putin gives it to him. Putin is a trained KGB agent. This is what intelligence agencies do. Find a weakness and exploit it for your own purposes. We do this all of the time.

Could there be money involved? Perhaps, but Trump skips out on debts all of the time. Could there be a pee tape? Possibly, but Trump, and his supporters won't care.

But my money is on pure psychological manipulation.
