In reply to the discussion: WALLACE Demolishes GOP Talking Point. [View all]NotASurfer
(2,369 posts)23. That led to an interesting circular journey on Google
I hadn't heard that assertion about being a secret GOP asset before, so I threw "was Tim Russert a GOP supporter" at Google.
Wikipedia had nothing but Google in turn had an entry from something called Conservapedia
https://www.conservapedia.com/Tim_Russert
I figured a right wing site would maybe mention the cocktail party, but their reference to the GOP support angle is this:
On the liberal side, he is attacked for, as a Democratic Underground (sic) stated, being "...anything BUT an objective journalist."[7]
Didn't find anything else, so far. The link to DU in their references goes nowhere, http://journals.democraticunderground.com/Time%20for%20change/31 , though a RW website might be linking to an alt reality version of DU.
Still digging

Deep within Chris Wallace there is .."Truth".. It is ingrained in him and he can't get rid of it.
