(73 posts)If Trump wins in 2020, he will make his second term all about exacting revenge on those he believes slighted him. The GOP seems enthralled by Trump's allure and power. If we think Trump is vindictive now, a second term Trump would grind the government to a halt if it meant sweet revenge and tears.
Imo, Trump will try to leave miles of metaphorical scorched earth in his wake. If he can't have his way, he will make life very miserable for his opponents to the best of his ability. His administration and followers want their pound of flesh. The next year (hopefully not 5) will be a cavalcade of petty, childish antics, further dividing and weakening our nation.
Trump should have never been President. He never had the temperament for it. It was always about his ego, and nothing more. His mental state seems to be deteriorating. The worst part now, in my mind, is the uncertainty.
