The majority of passages actually discount unborn life, until the first breath.
There's a stretch about two fighting men injuring a pregnant woman, but that's the best they have. Most all other deaths of preborn are just met with a simple fine.
LDS and others try to claim that God knows everyone, who were formed in the womb by dust blowing up into there, since they had no idea how conception started in the Bronze Age. Even it that is true, God kills many fetuses, children and pregnant women, allows other fetuses, children and pregnant women to die at the hands of people, etc, so there is no justification to say that the one in the womb wasn't destined to die from planned termination.

It's a shame that there is nothing in the Bible that really substantiates that pastor's statements.

Actually, New Testament doesn't mention the "unborn", but DOES talk about the poor, the ill, etc.
