I lost my son and husband 18 months apart in 99 and 2001...they had cancer and were diagnosed 2 months from each other.

No matter how fast or slow and if you are prepared or not of losing the ones you love. You are never prepared and you will have a gaping hole for a long time. As the years go bye it gets smaller but a sound, a smell, a song , a picture , a memory will bring back the big gap...but it closes faster. Be with your family and share hugs and memories. Your brother will always with you. He left his footprints on your heart.

I am with you still, I do not sleep

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am a diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain

When u awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush…
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone
