4. The use of idiot here means something different for Sovereign Citizens

from what most of us perceive. They appear to be using ancient Greek meaning. In Ancient Greece, an idiot was one who was not involved in affairs of the state, they were not considered citizens. Which fits into the narrative of sovereign citizens.
The meaning of idiot has changed over time.


Ryan Bundy of the infamous Bundy Clan that had a standoff with the govt also tried to use the idiot defense.
