16. I watched an interview for a barista position at a local coffee shop.

She brought her boyfriend. He sat at the table with them. To his (or her) credit, he didn't say anything, but still. It's weird that he was there. I don't think she got the job because I've never seen her behind the counter, but maybe her shifts and my time off don't mesh.
