Lee Atwater, noted GOP campaign manager and ratfucker (of Willie Horton fame), is an example. After he got cancer and was on his way out, he found religion and wrote apologies to a bunch of people he'd harmed politically, notably Michael Dukakis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Atwater Limbaugh is a pretty devout asshole, though, so I don't expect much from him.
